Sunny Sunday!

Hey all you fashion lovers!
Style Watch here for day numero deux!

Hint from Twitter #1
Hint from Twitter #2
So if any of you had a chance to look at the twitter @thestylewatch1, you probably would have seen a couple hints for today's blog... I wonder if anyone guessed right..?

The two pics I posted are shown here on either side... so what do these have in common?

You might think it's the patterned bottoms, or maybe the solid coloured tops... well the number 1 thing that jumps out at me is the Sunglasses!!

So if you guessed that today's blog would be about shades... you are correct!!

I went shopping yesterday looking for inspiration for todays blog and boom! I found a People Style magazine, I open it up and the first page to catch my eye was a page full of nothing but sunglasses... and what better way to start the summer than with the right shades!

So If you wanna look hot all season keep reading this post to find out the perfect pair of sunnies!!
All that being said, lets begin!

Not to long ago I remember reading an article about the perfect sunglasses for your face, I thought it would be perfect to share in today's blog. Unfortunately I couldn't find the magazine I read the original article in, but fortunately for us there is this thing called Google! I came across an online article from Allure Magazine that describes in great detail the right sunglasses for every face shape.

When deciding what shades you wanna rock this summer, start by deciding what face shape you have; round, square, heart-shaped, or oval

  • Round Face - Go for square frames or wayfarers (NO round frames)

Adelle and Mila Kunis
If you look in the mirror and see that you have a round face like Adelle or Mila Kunis, I don't recommend circular frames for your new shades... Instead go for something square-framed, they will balance the the roundness of your face as well as add definition...

  • Square Face - Think round frames
Olivia Wilde
As you could've guessed, since square frames balance a round face, it only seems to make sense that round frames would balance a square face like Olivia Wilde's...

  •  Heart-Shaped face - Aviators
Reese Witherspoon
Taylor Swift

If you look in the mirror and see that you have a heart shaped face like Reese Witherspoon or T-Swift, look no further than aviators.

When it comes to a heart-shaped face, unlike the round or square face, you actually want to mimic the shape not contrast.

Aviators are typically wider at the top of the frame and tapered at the bottom, so they compliment the heart-shaped face

  • Oval Face - Anything goes!
If you're lucky enough (like myself) to have an oval shape then anything goes! You can pull off any shades, whatever your heart desires! Trendy cat-eyes, classic wayfarers, round...anything! So have some fun, maybe a different shape for each day of the week, mix it up and show off that beautiful oval face!

My personal favourite is aviators, I feel like such a bad-ass when I wear them ;) lol
